The 800 Service Management System (SMS/800) Functions F.C.C. Tariff No. 1 specifies each individual Responsible Organization (Resp Org) entity must demonstrate that one or more of their employees have been adequately trained in the SMS/800 capabilities and features, including handling customer records, number administration and service provisioning. To assure all users possess a minimal level of proficiency of the SMS/800 the SMS/800 Help Desk administers competency tests to all new Resp Orgs.

Classes
The SMS/800 Help Desk conducts a variety of SMS/800 training classes for new and experienced users. The SMS/800 Training Class Schedule document located at the bottom of this page contains a complete list of the classes offered, class length, overview, outlines, and schedule.

All classes can be customized and/or “suit-cased” to your location, for more information please call the SMS/800 Help Desk at 888-SMS-3300, Option 1.

Registration
Provided there is sufficient interest, the SMS/800 Help Desk will commit to conducting the class three weeks before the scheduled class start date. At that time, the SMS/800 Help Desk will notify all students who have registered for the class and invoice their company.

Once a student has registered for an SMS/800 class, their organization becomes responsible for the registration fee. If a student cannot attend the class, the organization can schedule someone else to attend in their place or the receive credit towards attending a future class. 

Pricing
The fee for all SMS/800 training classes is $350.00 per student per day. The SMS/800 Help Desk must receive payment in full, pay to the order of Sykes Enterprises, Inc., before the start of class. Payment should be sent to:

SMS/800 Training Documentation
All SMS/800 User Guides can be downloaded from the Resp Org side of the SMS/800 Website. Additionally, the SMS/800 WBA User Guide can be accessed from the Help menu in the WBA. The WBA Service Management Student guide (SG114) can be purchased separately from the SMS/800 Help Desk for a fee of $60.00.
