| SMS/800 allows users the option of porting a set of multiple numbers to another Resp Org at one time. The feature is available to both MGI users and to Web Based Access (WBA) users. Users can type in a list of toll-free numbers, paste in a text list of toll-free numbers or import a file of toll-free numbers. Users can find the Multi-Dial Number Resp Org Change window from the Main Menu of the WBA under the System Automation Functions option.

| While many of the SMS/800 mass changes are initiated by the SMS/800 Help Desk to keep the system up to date, mass change features also exist to make customer record management easier for the Resp Orgs. The SMS/800 Help Desk may initiate mass changes in response to NPA splits and overlays, a redefining of LATA boundaries, or a redefining of SCP service areas. Resp Orgs have the option of requesting mass carrier changes, mass Resp Org ID changes, and partial Resp Org ID conversions.

| The SMS/800 Production environment (IMSE1) will be taking a 6-hour downtime on Saturday, September 13, 2008. The downtime will begin at 12:01 AM CT (midnight) and will conclude at 6:00 AM CT. This downtime is needed to update the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) and to complete the installation of SMS/800 Release 17.0.7. Users will have to upgrade to JRE 1.5 or higher.

| Users who are waiting to reserve a number that will soon be returned to spare now know what time a given number will automatically spare. With the implementation of SMS/800 Release 16.0, numbers scheduled for automatic spare are released at 11 pm Central.
